## What this error means

Two packages ask for incompatible versions of the same pod — typically plugins written for another Capacitor major version, or an outdated local specs repo.

## Why it happens

The Podfile asks for versions of a pod that no specs source can satisfy together — usually Capacitor and a plugin on different majors.

## The message tools print

```
[!] CocoaPods could not find compatible versions for pod "Capacitor":
```

## How to fix it

1. Put Capacitor and every plugin on versions made for the same Capacitor major.
2. Run pod repo update, then npx cap sync ios.
3. Still stuck: delete ios/App/Pods and Podfile.lock, then sync again.
