> Getting the error “No profiles for your bundle ID were found”? Here is how to fix it. Xcode has no App Store profile for this bundle ID.

**No profiles for your bundle ID were found.** A provisioning profile ties your bundle ID, your certificate and your capabilities together. Xcode found none that matches this bundle ID and certificate.

## What this error means

A provisioning profile ties your bundle ID, your certificate and your capabilities together. Xcode found none that matches this bundle ID and certificate.

## Why it happens

Xcode matches the bundle ID and the signing certificate against installed App Store profiles. None of them fit this app, so signing stops.

## The message tools print

```
error: No profiles for 'com.studio.harbor' were found: Xcode couldn't find any iOS App Store provisioning profiles matching 'com.studio.harbor'. (in target 'App' from project 'App')
```

## How to fix it

1. Check that the bundle ID in Xcode matches the appId in capacitor.config and the App ID in your Apple Developer account.
2. Create or regenerate an App Store provisioning profile for that App ID that includes your distribution certificate.
3. Install it on the build machine, or let automatic signing with an App Store Connect API key fetch it.

## Check a log that shows this

Paste the failing step into the [build error explainer](https://capwr.app/free-tools/build-error-explainer). It matches this message, and any others in the same log, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
