## What this error means

A step tried to write to the repository — a comment, a push, a release — with a GITHUB_TOKEN that only has read access.

## Why it happens

The step called the GitHub API with the workflow’s GITHUB_TOKEN, and that token is not allowed to touch the resource — often writing contents, pull requests, or checks.

## The message tools print

```
HttpError: Resource not accessible by integration
```

## How to fix it

1. Add a permissions block to the workflow (contents: write, for example) for the job that needs it.
2. Or allow read and write workflow permissions in the repository’s Actions settings.

## Check a log that shows this

Paste the failing step into the [build error explainer](https://capwr.app/free-tools/build-error-explainer). It matches this message, and any others in the same log, in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.

## Read the whole failed ship, not the last line

When a CapWrapp ship fails, open it in History and choose Explain with AI. That reads the whole build log.

## About CapWrapp
