What this error means
Apple raises the minimum SDK every spring. Builds made with an older Xcode are refused at upload.
Why it happens
Apple rejects uploads built with an SDK older than the current minimum. The binary may be fine; the Xcode that produced it is not new enough.
The message tools print
ITMS-90725: SDK version issue - This app was built with the iOS 17.5 SDK. All iOS and iPadOS apps must be built with the iOS 18 SDK or later, included in Xcode 16 or later, in order to be uploaded to App Store Connect or submitted for distribution. How to fix it
- Build with the current Xcode release. On GitHub Actions, use a recent macOS runner and select its newest Xcode.
- Update Capacitor if your version doesn’t support that Xcode yet.
